Southwest California Vintners is once again holding their Passport event! The weekend is April 26th and 27th. For details check out the flyer and more information at swcv.org Events Page. Our wines will be poured at the 13th Annual Wine and Food Festival, May 17th brought to you by The Rotary Club of Bonsall held at the Center for the Arts in Escondido. Bite of Temecula at Big Apple Physicians. The event is Thursday May 29th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
June 6th-8th we will be pouring at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival 2008 at Lake Skinner. Come and join the fun and we'll see you there! Next wine club shipment party is June 14th featuring Jerry Gontang!! We'll be releasing Meritage B and picking our 2006 Meritage blend using the UC Davis 20 point system again. to survival is early detection! 2007 Wine & Food Festival, Sunday November 4th at the Del Mar Plaza 3-6pm, brought to you by the Women's Council of San Diego in support of City of Hope, this event has been moved to July 13th 2008 due to the San Diego County fires. July 26th, we will again be pouring at the Vista Optimist annual fund raiser Winefest in Vista, 5:30-10:30. Events we did this year: April 20th we poured our wines at the Fallbrook Avocado Festival brought to you by the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce. December 2nd, Sunday, 2pm, Pechanga Resort & Casino Grand Ballroom, Temecula. An Evening of Hope, Harmony, & Holidays featuring David Benoit. A silent auction & Benefit concert event. Cougar, as a member of the Southwest California Vintners (swcv.org), is sponsoring a Wine tree and also donating our wines to the event. David Benoit and band were fabulous! November 24th, Saturday, 8am, our tasting room's 1 year anniversary and the Temecula Turkey Trot 5k/10k at the Winery! This fun run will raise funds and awareness for the Western Eagle Foundation. So eat all you want on Thanksgiving and run it off supporting a good cause! See you there! Rick & T-Bone, duo band, will be playing during regular tasting room hours 4-6pm September 29th. Admission to listen is the cost of tasting. Their music is a little jazz, some old classics and some nice smooth rock. Come enjoy good wine and good music! September 15th, we poured at the Zoofari fund raiser at the Fallbrook Golf Course, 5-9pm. This is their annual fund raiser for their organization dedicated to the rescue and housing of unwanted, non-releasable or confiscated wildlife, both at the local and national level as well as supporting international wildlife conservation programs. September 16th, we'll be pouring at the Wine & Chocolate Hospice of the Valley 11th annual fund raiser at Wilson Creek Winery, 3-7pm. Hope you made it to this one! STARS ON THE WATER with JERRY GONTANG, Sunday, September 2nd, was a blast! The band was as good as I remember them and except for it being gosh darn hot the day was perfect! Are you a Parrot Head? Well then you better plan on attending next time and we will do this one again. August 25th we enjoyed the acoustic guitar and vocals of a new up-and-coming band Shunpike! If you missed them, we hope to have them back in about a month on a Saturday afternoon again. July 14th, we poured at the Vista Optimist annual fund raiser Winefest in Vista, 5:30-10:30. For the first year we poured our wine at the Temecula Valley Wine & Balloon Festival June 1st-3rd. We poured our wines at the 12th Annual Wine and Food Festival, May 18th brought to you by The Rotary Club of Bonsall held at the Center for the Arts in Escondido. |
